What's Marmari like
Transfer times from Kos airport will be from 20 minutes to just over half an hour depending on if you’re the first or last drop off so it’s nice and quick, you’ll be on the beach or in the pool before you know it.
Marmari is based around a single main road that heads down to the beach and a coastal road that runs alongside the 2km long sand beach.
There’s a good selection of hotels, with most being down at the beach end. There’s large all-inclusive options with large pools that are perfect for kids and smaller apartments too. Be aware that some, particularly the larger hotels are not always in the town itself but along the beach front so check the actual location of the hotel before booking.
The good thing about Marmari is that it has everything you need as a tourist, there’s supermarkets, vehicle rental shops, cash machines, restaurants and tavernas all right on the edge of Marmari beach so it’s perfect for a package h
