This is the discography of Army of Lovers, a Eurodance project founded in Sweden in , fronted by Alexander Bard, Jean-Pierre Barda and Camilla Henemark.[1]

Best known internationally for their song "Crucified," Army of Lovers had success across Europe with four studio albums, six compilation albums and 27 singles.[2]

Although their singles "Israelism", "Obsession" and "Ride the Bullet" scored chart success across Europe, their success in the US and the UK was limited, (though "Crucified" reached the top 40 in the UK Singles Chart).[3]

    Big Battle of Egos is Army of Lovers' seventh album. It is a compilation of previous albums, including four new songs: Rockin' The Ride, Crashing Down, Signed on my Tattoo and Tragedy. It was released throughout Europe in March [1][2][3][4]

    Army of Lovers reformed with Alexander Bard, Camilla Henemark and Jean-Pierre Barda in late to enter the Melodifestivalen with the song "Rockin' the Ride", in hopes of representing Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. Their entry did not reach the finals of the Melodifestivalen. Only some days after their performance Alexander Bard explained to the press, that Camilla Henemark was kicked out once again and that Dominika Peczynski returned. The kick-out was followed by a public fight between Alexander Bard and Dominika Peczynski against Camilla Henemark.[5]

    Camilla Maria Henemark (born 23 October [1]), also known as La Camilla, is a Swedish singer, actress, political spokesperson, and former fashion model.

    Biography

    Henemark was born in Stockholm, to a Nigerian father and a Swedish mother.[2] She started her modelling career in her teens and later had her own modeling agency.[citation needed] Henemark started her career in music in by joining Alexander Bard in his Barbie project as Katanga. That project morphed into the group Army of Lovers, and soon Henemark, using the stage name "La Camilla", became the face of the group.[citation needed] After two albums (and at least one public fight) with the group, she left and began a solo career.[citation needed] She r

    Army of Lovers är en svenskeurodancegrupp som bildades i Stockholm i augusti av den före detta dragshowartisten och musikern Alexander Bard, fotomodellen Camilla Henemark (La Camilla) och frisören Jean-Pierre Barda. Glitter, glamour och exotism blev redan tidigt viktiga ingredienser i gruppens framtoning.

    Army Of Lovers spelade på leksaksinstrument och gjorde ingen hemlighet av att de mimade till andras röster både på scen och i videor. I kören som sjunger på riktigt i ”Crucified” hörs bland andra popstjärnan Jean-Paul Wall och The Real Groups Katarina Wilczewski.[1]
