Choose the right wall paint
When choosing a wall paint for a room, there are a few aspects you should consider.
Light in the room
The same colour will be perceived differently depending on the light in the room. In a room with a lot of natural light, the colour will be perceived as lighter, whereas it will be perceived as darker in a room with less light.
Use of the room
Don’t be afraid to colour the rooms in your home in different colours. Colours brighten up and add character to your home. But we strongly recommend using calmer colours for rooms you spend time in during the evenings. On the other hand, in rooms you usually spend time in during the day, you can treat yourself to a more invigorating and vibrant colour.
Paint type by space
Choose the paint type according to the space you are going to paint. Use a matte wall paint in a space with low wear, and glossy wall paints in, for example, the bathroom, kitchen, or laundry room.

- Provides basic rust protection.
- Can also be used for spray painting.

- Sand, clean and dry the surface if necessary.
- Prime with wood primer or outdoor primer.
- Apply two coats of paint 24 hours apart.
Painting metal
- Brush/blast and clean the surface if necessary.
- Prime, if necessary, with rust protection primer for lasting corrosion protection.
- Apply two coats of paint 24 hours apart.
